The inspiration for the renovation and extension of this preexisting pavilion came from the local tradition of weaving Bagakay bamboo poles, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.

To connect all the spaces, we applied the pleated bamboo ceiling throughout the common areas, like a sweeping sculptural centerpiece. The overall palette then takes on a restrained, modest and neutral tone - a respectful nod to the beautiful natural material and the surrounding greenery.
